Christina's Pack

Christina's pack started off being just our little "Misty". During the pandemic, recently widowed, Christina was lonely and feeling the extreme affects of isolation. With Christina being one of our best friends and winter coming on, we got the idea that maybe Misty could be her companion either temporarily or permanently. The arrangement was a “lifesaver” for both of them. Misty thrived on being Christina’s buddy. Misty slept with her, learned to travel in the car and went on hikes. Christina provided her a retirement home.

After that was working so well, she took in "Forest" to house train him and prepare him for his retirement home. Then it was "Zephyr's" turn. Since then, she has taken in Charlie, Shaw and Sunny.

She fostered "Jenna and Kiara" (previously Ben's pack). They made themselves right at home with Christina in her little house in town. She has a nice fenced front and back yard, but all the dogs stay in the house with Christina. That's the way she likes it. She loves the “PACK” feeling. And of course, the dogs LOVE it. When they were ready, they were trained and accustomed to indoor living.
